Wednesday Writing
The one exception to 14 hour weekdays is Wednesday. On that day I only work at one job, not both. I'd been working 14 hour weekdays (including Wednesday) since November 28th. About a month ago I cut Wednesday down to 8 hours a day.
I'm feeling much better about my schedule these days. That break in the middle of the week is really helping me a lot. I particularly enjoy the mental break during the evening.
For that reason I usually just relax and veg out on the couch. That was fine for 3 weeks, but yesterday I got restless and decided to do some writing. I wrote for maybe half an hour - not that much, but not that bad either. I, of course, didn't come anywhere close to my required words, but I gave myself some slack because yesterday wasn't a regularly scheduled writing day.
I think it might become one, though, with a reduced minimum wordcount after realizing how good I felt after doing it. I guess weekend writing just isn't enough to satisfy my writing urge. Which is a good thing overall.
Of course, there is no such thing as a maximum word count. If I can write 10k (ha!), then I won't stop myself.
